Frequently Asked Questions
Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions. If you do not find the answer to your specific question feel free to contact us.
Design
1) What do you mean by Landscape Design Artwork? Simply put, our designs are true architectural style layouts which are drawn to scale with your property measurements incorporated. Our designs are not scribbled on a yellow scratch pad. Try to find a landscaper that can even deliver a design on a yellow piece of paper. The best part of it is that the designs are also provided free of charge. That's right, FREE of charge. We are so confident, that if you go through the design process with us you will have us do your landscape installation. That is why we will spend the time with you to qualify your intentions as a potential client and provide the landscape design Artwork FREE of charge.

2) What type of plants can be used in my landscape? We have a very simple policy in that we design to your specific tastes and desires. Hey, it's your house and your landscape and we'll help you determine what is best for them. Other than that, how about checking out your neighbors yard, the local nursery, watch a show on TV, read a book or listen to our suggestions, it's all part of the process of determining what suits your taste and enhances your home.

3) Can you use some of the plants or trees already in my yard? Although our crews like tearing into the existing stuff and ripping them out of the way for that fresh new landscaping design, we have been known, at quite a few times actually, to be quite benevolent to those that are capable of being incorporated into the new design. This is usually a good way of getting an established look right away if they are of the kind we know can handle the shock.

4) Do I need any type of permit? The only permit required is that you permit us to do your landscape design and installation; what? Other than that basic statement most landscape installations do not require any type of legal permit on the part of the client. But, we are also fully aware of the filing policies of the State of Florida, including the EPA, and have properly filed when required by law. Other than the landscape though, if the design includes a support structure, such as a deck, that may possibly require a building permit depending on the site and location specifics.

5) Can my design be modified once you begin installation? What? After all of that effort all of us have put towards the design and now we're there to install it . . . you want to change it? OK, but it will probably cost you and possibly impact the schedule. To be honest, we are going to be more than willing to work with you on ever aspect of the landscaping process, but feature creep will cause problems with both of our schedules. But, in the end you have hired us to do a job or two or three and we will honor our agreement, in time.

6) What if I don't like something in the design? Hello . . . have it changed. It's that simple! But also, let's be real; a final design decision will be needed to move on to the installation process. Although we will do everything possible to satisfy your concerns and desires with the design, we will also not rush that final decision. In the end though you may come to the realization that you may not be ready to take on the task of having your landscape renovated, and if that happens we will run away and hopefully hear from you in the future.

7) What if I liked the design but not how it was installed? 407-359-4952 The Landscape Renovator will review it and/or walk through it with you and address all of your concerns . . . just as in the design process . . . our guarantee.
