Stone Work Q&A's

1) Do you build stonewalls and patios? I was born in New England and as a Gardener and Landscaper, I think it is in my genes to build stone walls. As far as patio materials, stone, brick and wood are great materials. Human space is more important. So we design spaces or outdoor rooms to meet your needs then we apply the materials for the 'floor'.

2) What type of stone can we use? Unlike other areas of the country, Mother Nature didn't make stone in Florida so most are imported. However, we have 'tons' of colors and textures to pick from.

3) Can you redo my driveway? Yes, yes, yes. Concrete is so ugly!! We can color and add texture to concrete but it gets more expensive than laying concrete or clay pavers for a drive. This also helps reduce the parking lot look of a driveway.

4) What kind of walkways can you install? Random stone, brick, compost wood, travertine, tile, mulch, crushed stone, cut stone, granite, concrete (blah!) and oh yeah, maybe you have a material I haven't thought of? Ok, I'll be humble. Pathways are one of the most important design parameters which we use for designs. People live to be led. Whether it's showing us the way to the front door or allowing our eye to follow a path through the back garden.

5) Do you ever have to use cement? Yes. What a great medium to help create awesome structural details. Don't like to see it, but I love to use it!!
